Sherri Trombetta

Sherri Trombetta - Owner of Fallbrook Pilates and a Certified Pilates Instructor through the Pilates Method Alliance. I have 10+ years experience working with various types of injuries, spinal fusion, stenosis, spinal misalignments and general populations. I also hold certifications in MELT basic hand and foot, CoreFitnessRoller (MOTR) through Balanced Body and TRX Suspension Training. I am a long time resident of Fallbrook, FUHS alumni and currently a member of Fallbrook Village Rotary and Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce.

I take great pride in teaching the classical style work of Joseph Pilates at my studio. When Joseph passed away in 1967 his method was well known by elite dancers and much of the upper-class of New York, it wasn't until the 1980's that exercise science caught up with Pilates' Method creating the surge we see today. As Joseph was a creator and inventor, developing his work from personal experience, I feel as Pilates Instructors and practitioners we have an obligation to continue to develop this method.

Austin Way
Health and fitness have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mother has been a fitness instructor for over 30 years and cultivated an upbringing immersed in aerobics, Pilates, and yoga. Her mentorship helped me excel in athletics and propelled me into a successful collegiate baseball career. Following the traditional path, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Applied Exercise Science, with experience in physical therapy. This fundamental knowledge has provided the tools to design proper exercise prescription for any fitness level. As a TRX Sr. Course Instructor and Certified Personal Trainer, I’ve seen remarkable improvements in my clients’ abilities and overall quality of Life. Regardless of fitness level, whether you're an elite athlete or someone who has never worked out before, these tools can help anyone obtain their fitness goals.

Sarah Hilker
Sarah Hilker began practicing Pilates during the year of 2000 while attending college. Sarah practiced mat work extensively for five years. In 2006 Sarah began studying Pilates with Master Instructors Judith Way and Sherri Trombetta and was introduced to Joseph Pilates Machines. Knowing she would one day like to be an instructor herself, she attended her first Pilates Method Alliance conference in 2006 and fell in love with Core Dynamics Pilates. Sarah began studying anatomy and physiology at her local community college and attended Healing Hands school of Massage Therapy in Escondido where she was awarded her Massage Technician certificate. Soon after Sarah applied for Core Dynamics Teacher Training and was accepted into Michele Larssons' school. Sarah did her studying at a Core Dynamics Affiliate studio named Moving Breath Pilates, located in the Pheonix Area, under the guidance of Master Instructor Virginia Nicholas. In 2008 Sarah graduated from Core Dynamics as a Certified PIlATES Instructor and began working immediately at Fallbrook Pilates. Since, Sarah has continued to expand her education with workshops, webinars, and online classes. She has been privileged to take classes with multiple Masters of the PIlATES Method and Elders both living and a few before they passed. Recently, Sarah has been apart of Virginia Nicholas's program, Pilates Core Integration, as a mentor instructor for her program following the Eve Gentry lineage. In 2014 Sarah expanded her credentials and became a certified Pilates instructor with the governing body, Pilates Method Alliance.
